About the Cover
Cover. In her Editor's Choice column for this issue titled, "Health for All in the 21st Century" associate editor Mary T. Bassett astutely explains that "disparities link the poor to the rich, non-Whites to Whites, the native to the foreign born, and so on. Disparities occur because we all live in one world, together." (p. 2089) Our cover this month features an illustration by James Dandy available through Stockart, a custom art collective featuring the work of artists worldwide. Even as it vividly portrays the persistent disparities that are all too real, it also offers hope that one day we might embrace a common destiny: health for all.
Cover concept and selection by Aleisha Kropf, Robert Sember, Mary Bassett, Stephen Thomas, Farzana Kapadia, and Mary Northridge.
