ERRATUM In: Acton KJ, Ríos Burrows N, Moore K, Querec L, Geiss LS, Engelgau MM. Trends in diabetes prevalence among American Indian and Alaska Native children, adolescents, and young adults. Am J Public Health. 2002;92:1485–1490.

A figure was printed with a typographical error. The correct x-axis label for the last column of Figure 1—Rate of increase in diabetes prevalence among American Indians and Alaska Natives aged <35 years, by age group and sex, 1990 and 1998 is Total <35.

The second sentence of the Conclusions section has an error that appeared in the original manuscript. The correct sentence reads, "In contrast, the age-adjusted diabetes prevalence among the US general population increased by 14% between 1990 and 1996, and the diabetes prevalence increased by 3% among those younger than 45 years." This error does not affect the conclusion that the increase in diabetes prevalence among American Indians and Alaska Natives was higher than that in the US general population.
