En octobre 2002, l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS) a parrainé un atelier à Genève, en Suisse, s’attaquant aux problèmes rencontrés par les revues médicales dans les pays en développement dans leurs efforts pour fournir une information médicale importante en temps voulu aux chercheurs et praticiens locaux.
