A STUDY OF THE INCIDENCE, MORTALITY AND FATALITY OF DIPHTHERIA

W. J. V. Deacon

Diptheria is a disease of childhood.

Seventy per cent of all cases and ninety per cent of all deaths occur under fifteen years of age.

More boys than girls and more women than men have diphtheria.

The fatality rate is higher for males than for females.
