MEAT INSPECTION LAW FOR MUNICIPALITIES

Less than one-third of our cities of 5,000 population or more have any regulation of meat inspection, and in many of these the inspection is incomplete. This affects communities using local meats, which are more likely to be infected than are interstate meats. Public health demands serious reforms in this matter.
